The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommends that all first aid providers attend an annual update course to ensure they maintain and update their skills and knowledge.

Our First Aid Annual Refresher course re-visits the essential life saving skills expected from a First Aid provider. It is also suitable for those acting as an Appointed Person, who want the essential knowledge to fulfil the role and to help a colleague in need. Our highly practical, hands-on training is designed to teach life-saving skills that are not only vital in the workplace, but in everyday life.

Assessed by continual assessment of practical skills, and with no written tests, our first aid courses are fun and interactive. Using hands-on scenario based learning, you probably won't even realise you are being assessed.

Whether you're a designated first aider or simply want to be prepared, you’ll gain the confidence to act when it matters most.

Please note:

This course does not renew an existing first aid qualification.
Our First Aid Refresher / Appointed Person course refreshes and updates on all the essential life saving skills, including:

Roles and responsibilities

Accident recording & reporting

Scene safety, incident management & first aid kits

Primary survey.

Managing the unresponsive casualty (inc. safe airway management)

CPR & safe use of an AED (adult, child & infant)

Choking

Seizures

Severe/catastrophic bleeding (inc. use of torniquets)
